About Us
The American Medical Center is a pioneering medical facility for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, rheumatic diseases, and other related conditions within the Kingdom of Bahrain. This facility was started with one main objective, to provide a comprehensive leading edge approach to prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal diseases at affordable rates to the local people of Bahrain. AMC also has plans to expand and open multiple centers in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and to later establish presence in other neighboring countries like Saudi Eastern Province, Kuwait and Oman.
The Rheumatology and Internal Medicine services at AMC provide high quality care to diagnose, treat and prevent acute illnesses and treat and follow up of the chronic conditions, including consultation on diagnosis and treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, and other connective tissue diseases. The physical therapy division includes up to date physiotherapy equipment and units to treat musculoskeletal, neurological, and other cases. The services are provided by well-trained and dedicated professional and administration staff.
AMC’s state-of-the-art imaging equipment includes X-ray machines and bone mineral densitometer, as well as a world class, excellent laboratory staffed by well trained technicians and specialists providing quality, accurate and precise results. AMC shall provide affordable, prompt and reliable laboratory and diagnostic services for the advancement of health and wellness of the local citizens, expatriates and every individual seeking quality healthcare in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
